DACUM stands for “Developing a Curriculum” MCT Global provides DACUM Training I & DACUM Training II,

DACUM Training I: is a one-week (five days) course which prepares Participants to become DACUM Facilitators.

The main outcomes of the program are the following:

• Produce DACUM Research Charts (Occupation Profiles);
• Conduct Task Validation Survey;
• Identify Occupation requirements including skills, knowledge, attitudes, equipment, materials, tools, future trends and concerns.

The main uses of job/occupation profiles are the following:

• Provide industrial insights to help the development of competency frameworks needed for the development of competency-based curricula as well as industrial assessment standards;
• Provide employees with the expectations that are required of them in the role;
• Provide enough detail to help the candidate assess if they are suitable for the position;
• Support the recruitment team during the selection process;

• Help formulate questions for the interview process;
• Allow the prospective employees to determine their role or standing within the structure of the organization;
• Assist in forming a legally binding contract of employment;
• Help set goals and target for the employee upon joining;
• Aid in the evaluation of the employee’s job performance;
• Help formulate training and development plans in this service the companies; public and private institutions can join us to assist in job profile development.

DACUM Training II: is a one-week (five days) course which prepares Participants to become Competency based Curriculum Facilitators.

The main outcomes of the program are the following:

• Produce Competency Frameworks;
• Produce Competency based Assessment Standards;
• Produce Competency based Curriculum.
